Special Precautions
Patients who are hypersensitive to other sympathomimetic drugs (eg Ephedrine, Phenylpropanolamine, Phenylephrine), people with severe high blood pressure, and who are receiving anti-depressant drug therapy of the type of monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). If within 3 days the symptoms do not decrease, immediately contact the Health Service Unit.
Stop using this medicine if you have trouble sleeping, heart palpitations, and dizziness.
Cough accompanied by fever, redness of the skin, or persistent headache.
Continuous and long-term cough (especially in people with asthma, emphysema) and cough with excessive phlegm.
Patients with impaired liver, kidney, glaucoma, prostate hypertrophy, epilepsy, hyperthyroidism and urinary retention, heart problems, diabetes mellitus, arrhythmias, asthma, bronchitis and pheochromocytoma.
Discontinue therapy and consult a doctor if sudden severe headache and/or abdominal pain or fecal blood appears.
Avoid concurrent use with other cold and cough medicines, antihistamines, appetite suppressant drugs, drugs containing amphetamines, and drugs that suppress the CNS.
Should not exceed the recommended dosage. Children <6 years, pregnant and lactating, unless under doctor's instructions. Overweight or elderly.
